The Revelation of Jesus Christ
T. Austin Sparks realization of Christ had already moved on from the realm of theory or teaching to the revelation of the living Person. In the early years of his ministry, Brother Sparks was very powerful and brought a beneficial supply of life to others. But once he encountered difficulties because of his understanding of the church, his preaching of Christ became more objective than subjective.
Brother Sparks ministry was full of the Christ in revelation but short of the Christ in experience. We need to go on to know our Lord in the way of experience, by proceeding from revelation to experience. Further, we must ask the question: If Christ is not now the Spirit, then how can we experience His indwelling? Thus, we need Gods further unveiling to see that Christ is the life-giving Spirit for us to experience Him subjectively.
