T. Austin-Sparks (1888-1971) was raised up by the Lord in England to further His recovery of divine truths such as the centrality of Christ and the inward application of the cross. He was a prolific gospel preacher and writer, having authored over 100 books and published the paper A Witness and a Testimony for over 49 years. This website chronicles his participation in the Lords Recovery, which is to recover the experience of Christ as our enjoyment and the practice of the church life in oneness.
Watchman Nee found the writings of T. Austin-Sparks...expecially helpful concerning the truths of Christs resurrection and His Body. He read many of T. Austin-sparks books and was greatly helped on the matter of Christ. Watchman Nee translated spiritual writings from English to Chinese, but the author whose writings he most often translated, was T.
